Ficus Lyrata
Overview
Commonly known as the fiddle leaf fig, this is a popular houseplant with green, leathery leaves with pale veins. Grows 2' to 10' tall.
Water
Water once a week only if the soil has completely dried out. A good starting point for a 1-2ft tall plant is 8oz of water. With bigger plants, use more water.
Light
Thrives in bright, filtered light but can tolerate some direct sunlight hot weather.
Soil
Prefers a well-draining soil mix with a pH between 5.5-7.0. A soil mix containing 1 part peat moss/coco coir, 1 part perlite, and 2 parts organic soil is best.
