Overview
Succulents are plants with parts that are thickened, fleshy, and engorged, usually to retain water. With their water retention capabilities, they can sustain more arid climates.
Water
Only water when the soil is completely dried out but a good frequency is once every 14-21 days. Succulents planted outside can withstand more watering.
Light
Succulents need at least 6 hours of sun each day but new succulents can be scorched in too intense of direct sunlight. They will stretch if they don't receive enough light.
Soil
Use cactus soil or mix potting soil with sand, pumice, or perlite- one that drains very well.
