Kalanchoe
Overview
Most kalanchoe species are perennial herbaceous plants, though some are shrubs and a few are annuals. The thick leaves are highly variable in shape and are commonly waxy or hairy.
Water
Stick your finger in the soil every few days and when the top 2 inches of soil is completely dry, it's time to water.
Light
Prefers to receive natural sunlight that is relatively bright; however, it will not typically do well in direct sunlight.
Soil
They grow best in a well-drained and well- aerated potting soil, such 60% peat moss and 40% perlite. Cut back tall growth and old flower stems. Keep well watered in a sunny, warm window.
