Overview

The zamioculcas zamiifolia is an easy to grow and care for indoor plant that displays small glossy leaves on stems which can grow up to 3 ft long indoors and can survive in low light and with minimal care.

Water

Water every 2-3 weeks, allowing the soil to dry out between waterings. Expect to water more often in brighter light and less often in lower light.

Light

Requires bright indirect light but avoid a super sunny spot to avoid scorching. It can also do well under fluorescent lights inside.

Soil

Prefers a soil mix with a slightly acidic pH, in the range of 6.0-7.0. A soil mix containing 2 parts all-purpose potting mix with 1 part coarse sand and 1 part perlite is a great choice.
