Lavender
Overview
Fragrant drought tolerant plant that can be silvery grey to bright green and the blooms can be deep purple to blue-purple, pink, and even white.
Water
Before it's established, water once or twice a week. Once established, water every two to three weeks until buds form, then once or twice weekly until harvest.
Light
Direct sun. Needs 8 hours of sunlight.
Soil
Plant it in well-drained, slightly alkaline soil with a pH between 6.7 and 7.3. You can add builder's sand to the soil before planting to increase drainage, which is vital because lavender will not tolerate excessive soil moisture or humidity.
